May Book Releases

It’s the first day of the week, the first day of a new month and also time for a list of books you really can’t miss out on this month. May means a new start, better weather and in this case AMAZING books! I can’t wait for this month to start. That’s why I’ll keep it short and give you a list of the five books you HAVE to read this month! Enjoy 🙂

1. A Court of Wings and Ruins (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3) – Sara J. Maas

OH-MY-GOD! Tomorrow it’s finally time to read the final installment to the A Court of Thorns and Roses-trilogy by S.J. Maas. It’s THE book we’ve all been waiting for. We will finally find out what happens to Feyre and what will happen when the war that’s been looming will finally hit them. This sexy book will blow you off your seats. 2. Legion (Talon Saga #4) – Julie Kagawa
Release date: April 27th / May 1st
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Julia Kagawa really is my favorite author of all time and I can’t wait to find out what will happen to Ember, Garret and Riley in the fourth book in the amazing Talon Saga. The question will be: who will Ember choose? Who will win the war? What will happen to Ember? So many questions… And I’m pretty sure this book will end in a BIG CLIFFHANGER. Read more…

3. Lord of Shadows (The Dark Artifices #2) – Cassandra Clare
Release date: May 23rd
Publisher: Simon and Schuster
Okay, confession: I haven’t read the first book in this series yet. I only read the first three books in the “City of Bones” series by Cassandra Clare, but people have been buzzing about this book for ages. It had already been rated 4,5-stars on GoodReads. This book is about love, war and revanche. We’re in for something really exciting! And once again, Cassandra Clare will teleport you to a mythical world. Read more… 

4. Always and Forever, Lara Jean (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before #3) – Jenny Han
Release date: May 2nd
Publisher: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers
This serie has found a way in my heart rather sneaky. At first I didn’t like the series (for maybe 10 pages) but after that, Lara Jean found the way to my heart. This sweet series will hopefully end in a blast and we will find out if Lara Jean will end up with one of the boys she’s loved before. Gah. Can’t wait! Read more…

5. The Gauntlet (The Cage #3) – Megan Shepherd
Release date: May 23rd
Publisher: HarperCollins
Haven’t started reading this series yet, but I do own the first two books in the series and I have met Megan Shepherd just last week when she was visiting the Netherlands. The question we should ask: how are Cora and the others going to win the gauntlet? Since I haven’t read any of the books, I don’t really know what they’re talking about. But war, secret objects and magical worlds… sounds great! Read more…
