Tududuuuu, Tuduuuduuu, Tu! Tom Cruise is back with his action franchise and got a little crazy. We all know he likes to jump on couches and yell out he’s in love, but this man took crazy to another level because the man did all the stunts in this movie himself!

The movie starts with Benji (Simon Pegg) dressed up as a bush, trying to stop a plane from departing. While he’s busy doing that, we see Ethan (Tom Cruise) trying to get on the plane. But not in the regular ‘Can I see your passport’ kind of way, but he’s literally climbing on the wing to the side door. If you have seen the trailer you know he stays by the side door while the plane goes up in the freaking air!

The man has guts, I have to admit. Also for pushing this movie to production, because the last movie ‘Ghost Protocol’ wasn’t that big of a succes. While this one is! The humour is great, the storyline is refreshing. (Not the standard, Ha I want to conquer the world and I’m going to kill you guy) The plot wasn’t that plausible, and that suprised me because it is the Mission Impossible franchise. Alec Baldwin does play the stereotype director, but plays the part so well I don’t even care that much. Ilsa (Rebecca Ferguson) and Ethan have a great chemistry and I hope she will be a permanent part of the Mission Impossible cast.

Overall, the movie surprised me. You don’t have to necessarily see the other movies but still enjoy it. The story moves quickly and takes place in multiple countries, so it stays interesting. The action is very diverse and I love the way it works out.

In a nutshell: An action packed summer blockbuster with great stunts!
