The long wait is almost over! Tomorrow will the new addition to the Harry Potter universe debute in theaters. Because of all the new characters and actors it seemed appropriate to introduce these. Please stay tuned because our website will feature a lot more posts about FBAWTFT!
- Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander)
Born on January 6th 1982 in London, Eddie is an English succesful model, singer and actor. In 2015 he was especially noticed because of his prominent and Oscar winning role in The Theory of Everything. He featured in a couple of movies and series before but only then we started to look out for this British talent. He plays the main Newt Scamander, a young British wizard who travels to America. He loses some pets (well, you know..) and tries to find them again.
- Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein)
Came to this world on March 3rd 1980 in London and is a not that well-known. She is an actress and producer. You may know her from movies such as Steve Jobs (2015) and Inherent Vice (2014). Almost positive that FBAWTFT will launch her career like none other! She looks very promising in the trailer and is a nice fresh face. She plays Porpentina Goldstein, an American witch who is going to help Newt.
- Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein)
On December 23rd, 1984, Alison Sudol was born in Washington. She is an actress and singer, who is featured on several movie soundtracks. She starred in the series “Transparent” and had a lot of cameos in tv shows. She plays the witchQueenie Goldstein, the sister of Tina. She lives with her and gets caught up in the quest of Newt.
- Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski)
Dan is a bit older than the previous names. He was born on the 20th of October, 1976 in Brooklyn. He has a ton of shorts and movies on his resume. He voice acted in a lot pictures like Horton and Kung-Fu Panda. He does musicals too and plays Jacob Kowalski. A character who just broke up with his girlfriend and got attacked by one of Newt’s creatures. He travels a while with Newt and is amazed by the wizardry and magic.
- Colin Farell (Percival Graves)
On May 31th, 1976, Colin was born in Ireland. He has several big movies under his belt and is well known for the remake of Total Recall (2012) and the movie Phone Booth (2002). He worked with great actors and has a lot of experience. He plays Percival Graves, the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. He tries to keep track of Newt when his creatures escaped and doesn’t look very friendly in the trailer. (below)
- Ezra Miller (Credence)
Last but not least, Ezra was born in 1992 on 30th of September in New Jersey. He has been around for a while but is now a hot, upcoming actor. He played in Trainwreck (2015), the Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) and will play the Flash in Justice League in 2017. This fresh face will play Credence, a mysterious character who definitely isn’t friendly.
