The Kissing Booth
The Kissing Booth (2012) by Beth Reekles is about Rochelle Evens (popular, but never been kissed) and Noah Flynn (badass and a total player). When Rochelle – Elle – starts a kissing booth for the school’s Spring Carnival, she kisses Noah and her world is turned upside down. Will she get her happily ever after? This movie has been a huge hit ever since its release on May 11th in 2018.
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2014) by Jenny Han has been one of the biggest successes of Netflix book adaptations. It tells the story of Lara Jean, who’s sister accidentaly sends out all her secret love letters to her crushes. Will something good come out of this? Both this movie, and the sequel To All the Boys 2: P.S. I Still love You are on Netflix!
