Lauren Kate is best known for her world wide best selling series called “Fallen”. Also, the first book of the series will be released as a movie in 2015! Filming just stopped, for set photos you can check out www.laurenkatebooks.com. But this blog isn’t about her first series, about fallen angels and forbidden love. No. This blog is about “Teardrop” and its sequel “Waterfall”.
Today was exciting, because Lauren Kate revealed some awesome news about Teardrop and Waterfall. Teardrop was released in October last year (you can check my meet & greet with her in Amsterdam HERE). And Waterfall, its sequel, will be released on October 28th, this year. And today Lauren Kate could finally show us the new covers! The covers are ‘paperback’ and after tweeting with Lauren, it got clear that there probably won’t be a new hardcover cover, meaning: my book shelve will be ruined. The new cover is pretty too, but it will never be prettier than the first cover, in my opinion! Here they are:
So, what do you think about the covers? I think Lauren tried to focus more on Eureka’s eyes, which worked out pretty good. Also, these covers are stronger, more solid and less romantic than the first cover. I honestly can’t wait until October and I hope Lauren Kate is visiting Amsterdam again, like she did last year! Teardrop is soooo amazing, and I am 100% sure Waterfall will live up to its expectations 🙂
