Hello, hello!
I just saw the first two episodes of Scream Queens and boy, I’m so excited! If you haven’t seen it yet, please go check it out because there are spoilers ahead!
So we have a few mysteries that we see in the first two episodes, let’s recap!
The first episode begins with a tragedy in 1995, a young Kappa sister has a baby in a tub and dies shortly after because they let her bleed out. When Grace opens up the mystery door – in the second episode – in the basement I almost fell of my chair when Chanel suddenly popped up – wasn’t the last time – and told her about the tragedy, but I really want to know: what happened to the baby? Maybe it’s Grace, what do you think?
And then we have the red mask, which really throws me for a loop because usually I know within the hour who the bad guy is, but this person could be anybody. Maybe someone we haven’t even seen yet! And I’m so bummed out because he/she killed Ariana 🙁 , and I really laughed at Chanel because she is so blasé about the bodies that they must cover up! Ariana wasn’t the only one to get killed though, the deaf Taylor Swift too. Too bad that wasn’t something they could cover up because it only made things worse. Zendaya has really fun comments every now and then, I hope we will learn more about her.
I was really cheering for Boone, because you know -> Nick Jonas. But at the end… Boone knows the red mask? He is working with him/her? We’ve only seen Boone with Chad and Chanel, Chad is too dumb to be the red mask and Chanel we saw with the killer. So no clues there unfortunately. And Dean Cathy… what is she doing, I don’t trust her! I don’t trust Pete either, he has a weird vibe. Can’t put my finger on it what kind of vibe though. I think these two are good candidates for being the red mask.
I think the writing is really good, you can’t predict the following scenes and the characters are really fun. The only thing I am not really sure about is the dramatics in the horror scenes, I mean when Ariana got killed and she suddenly got up and tried to post a warning on facebook? And just when she tried to upload it he puts a knife in her back? And then she suddenly looks alive and pressed Enter? And then she was dead? (You see the many question marks? That’s pretty much how I feel about it) But that’s the Friday 13th aspect of the show I guess! I think these two episodes are really exciting and fun to watch though, hopefully it will stay that way!

I just watched the first episode, and it was really fun in a way that I hadn’t expected. I believe Ariana’s character was posting a warning on Twitter? But anyway, I think the part where she types the warning, then is stabbed, then dies? and then comes up again to press enter is part of the comical, “bad horror” aspect of this show, which kind of reminded me of Scary Movie. I thought it was funny. 🙂 (although I did like Ariana’s character so I’m kind of sad she died so soon)
Ariana’s character was just HILARIOUS 😉
