A good thing that I have vacation in about 3 weeks, because I can’t wait to read some amazing books that are on my list and some books that are being released this May! Honestly, May is full of great (YA) books. I made a list for you, so check it out!
1. The One – Kiera Cass
Release date: May 6th
Series: The Selection #3
Since I have The Selection and The Elite ready to be read on my book shelve, I thought this book HAD to be on the May releases list. The Selection and The Elite have been high on best sellers lists all around the world and I can’t wait to start reading this series about princes, princesses and games that will make you want to read until the book is finished. The One is supposed to be the thrilling conclusion to The Selection series. The One will captivate readers who love YA dystopian and YA fantasy. Female main character – America – is prepared to fight for the future she wants… Sounds great!
2. Of Neptune – Anna Banks
Release date: May 13th
Series: The Syrena Legacy #3
Haven’t read anything from this series yet, but it sounds pretty awesome and it’s on my TBR list on Goodreads. Since I can’t tell you guys anything about the series, I’ll just look it up on Goodreads. *two minutes later* Apparently the books are about Emma, half Syrena half human. And it’s also about her love, Galen, who’s a 100% Syrena (I feel an impossible and forbidden love, am I right?). So, in the conclusion, there will be a battle that threatens not only to destroy their love but also the ocean they live in. Is it me, or does this sound pretty… Twilight-ish? Not that it includes vampires… but it DOES involve forbidden/impossible love and a struggle that threatens to destroy A LOT. What do you think?
3. City of Heavenly Fire – Cassandra Clare
Release date: May 27th
Series: The Mortal Instruments #6
Let’s not pretend and just admit that the world has been ready for this book for MONTHS. We all know half of the characters is going to die in the conclusion to The Mortal Instruments (known for City Of Bones, the first part in the series that’s been recently filmed) and we all know we are going to die a little bit with them. Having read only the first three books, I have to admit I’m not really DYING of excitement, because the series can be divided in 123 and 456. Since part 3 had a pretty ‘solid’ ending (meaning: no cliffhanger), I decided I wanted to wait with reading part 4 and 5 until City of Heavenly Fire was released. Excited? YES.
– MORE BOOKS WILL BE ADD LATER THIS WEEK –
