A good match?

So, nice you’re reading my blog again! This time I want to show you a book, which is part of a trilogy (post-apocalyptic) I haven’t read yet. Two of my friends from school recommended this book so I’ll give it a shot when I’ve finished my other books from my ’to-read’ list 🙂

Anyways, the book I’m talking about is “Matched”, written by Ally Condle. It’s about… well, I’m not going to summarize it for you. I’ll just copy the synopsis from the official website.

The book’s not exactly what I was going to talk about, tho I’d LOVE to read it! I just wanted to tell you the movie rights are sold to Disney! Which means there’s going to be a movie in the very near (of far) future. And that brings me to two of my probs:

1. The movie right were sold in 2010, that’s more than 2 years ago. Will there ever be a movie? I haven’t heard anything about it yet.

2. It will be filmed by Disney. I sure hope it’s not gonna be one of those sugary pink movies when the book is supposed to be really cool.

BUT GOOD NEWS! David Slade! Does this ring a bell? A big bell maybe? If you’re a Twilhard, it should ring a bell. David Slade is THE director of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and will also direct “Matched”! Ain’t that great? He is an awesome director!
