Hi guys,
It’s been a long night, it’s like 3 am in the Netherlands and I just watched Mockingjay part 1 and it left me breathless. I went to the marathon so at 6 pm The Hunger Games started and around 9 pm Catching Fire started. At midnight me and some other people were finally able to watch this movie and I cannot say enough that it was AMAZING!
I was afraid. I was afraid that the movie might turn out to be boring. I don’t know about you, but Mockingjay isn’t my favorite book. But what happened was incredible: I was holding my breathe throughout the whole movie. It was exciting, suspenseful, funny, dark, heartbreaking and warming at the same time. I had goosebumps throughout the whole movie. It. Was. GREAT.
The ending came in like a wrecking ball, that’s for sure. The whole room gasped. I could sense the tensing in the air for real. Well done Lionsgate! Well done.
I won’t spoil anything of course, so this is where I stop talking about the movie. Maybe in a few weeks I will discuss the movie again. Until then… please go see this movie! Really, it’s worth every dollar/euro you spent on it!
